Flyboard and diving
Cavalaire is known for its scuba diving sites. These are five centers which welcome you and offer you initiations, baptisms or outings offshore and to the Golden Islands. Many wrecks are to be discovered, such as Le Rubis, wreck of the legendary submarine sunk 40 meters deep. The more adventurous can try flyboard by letting themselves be propelled several meters in the air! The first flyboard school was created in Cavalaire-sur-Mer by Vincent Lagaf.
Events in Cavalaire
At the beginning of September, Cavalaire celebrates jazz through free concerts during “Cavalaire Jazz”. The Eurocup, an international regatta in the bay of Cavalaire, takes place every year during the Easter weekend. You also have the canine confirmation in October, a magnificent flower parade in February, as well as a great animation for August 15. Cavalaire is also a passing town during the Harley Davidson festival in May.
Saint Tropez
During your stay in our hotel in Cavalaire sur Mer , set off to discover Saint-Tropez, this tourist capital which is located just 18 kilometers away. Today it is one of the favorite places to stay for the international Jet Set. Its yachts and luxury boutiques contrast with its typical Provençal market and its old buildings. In Saint-Tropez, don't miss Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez in September, as well as the Porsche Paradise which takes place in mid-October.
Historic city
We must not forget that Cavalaire-sur-Mer has a rich historical heritage. Many military operations took place in Cavalaire during the Allied landings of the Second World War, notably on August 15, 1944. The town celebrates this date with a fireworks display grandiose, a parade of tanks, a free aperitif and other festivities in memory of the landing. There is no shortage of museums and cultural activities in Cavalaire sur Mer.
